The port of Reykjavík

After a fairly hot a noisy night at St Christopher’s Village hostel in London I had a nice 2 1/2 hour flight from Heathrow to Reykjavík landing at 3:30then about 30 minutes to clear customs.

The bus ride from the airport to the bus terminal was another hour and then we switched to several smaller buses and dropped everybody at their hotels, and yes I was 2nd last, after yet another hour. So . . . by the time I checked into the hostel it was 6:00 o’clock and there was only about 45 minutes left until sunset.

I went for a short walk and then had a good supper of fish and chips! (Cod) and then back to the hostel to a quiet evening in the lounge and the best sleep in a hostel ever.
Super comfy bed! (Also still tired from last night 😜)
